Sanusi Lamido Is Now The Emir Of Kano

Barely two days after the demise of the formal emir of Kano state, Alhaji Ado Abdullahi Bayero, his successor has been announced by the Secretary to the Kano State Government, Rabiu Zakariya.

Channels Television reported,
Kwankwaso had said yesterday at the Government House in the state capital, that the announcement will be made today (Sunday), after the kingmakers of the Kano Emirate Council paid him a condolence visit.

“Insha Allah, by tomorrow (Sunday) those who are responsible to announce the new emir will do so,”

Alhaji Ado Bayero, who died on Friday was buried the same day in accordance with Islamic rites has now been succeeded by the formal governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.

Okay guys, what bothers me is the fact that before now, Sanusi Lamido had allegations of financial recklessness before him which has not been finally resolved, if you ask me.

In a nutshell, i'm asking being the new emir of Kano, what happens if he is found guilty. Will being an emir overrule justice? What do you think.
