I saw the above picture and what caught my eyes was the colour of the man holding the pipe. It is no longer the white man who is responsible for this inhumanity to man in the Flora Shaw named Nigeria.
The leaders of Nigeria, CEOs who need to sleep with applicants before granting them common interview, Bank Executives who charge exorbitant interest rates they know the ordinary man cannot afford to pay except the rich, the Policeman who would boldly unleash the dragon at that man who can not afford a lawyer yet wouldn't dare raise his voice at the other just because of the NBA sticker on his windscreen, Soldiers who would retaliate the justice served to them by BRF by killing and protesting unnecessarily.
All these and more still have a firm grip on the pipe which is supposed to be our source of livelihood, joy, hope, peace and sound mind. It seems they aren't letting go any time soon except we fight and engage the culture.
The white men should no longer be blamed cause they absolutely have no hold on us anymore unless in cases where we give them.
