Marriages With Marital Stress Are More Likely To Have Daughters

So i read this article on TIME and i was dazzled. The research which was carried out by Duke researchers yielded a result which claims that women who reported higher levels of relationship stress, linked to an increased prevalence of later divorce, were more likely to give birth to girls.

Hamoudi, who co-anthored the research claims that “Girls may well be surviving stressful pregnancies that boys can’t survive, thus girls are more likely than boys to be born into marriages that were already strained.”

Does this mean we should make our marriages go through stress and strain if we want a girl child or more?

Wizkid To Collaborate With Rihanna

It's no longer a bombshell to hear a collaboration between a Nigerian artiste and an international music star.

A few big collabos that would make the A-list would have to include Psquare ft Rick Ross (Beautiful Onyinye), 2face ft T-Pain (Rainbow), Davido ft Akon (Damiduro remix) amongst others.

Now i hear Wizkid is collaborating with Rihanna on his forth coming album. Wizkid broke the news today when he was being interviewed on the Beat99.9FM in Lagos.

she smiled at him through her veil.

You may now kiss your bride Mr. Lawson, the Pastor beckoned. Lawson’s heart raced as he gently unveiled his bride’s face. She looked so beautiful. He gently
bent over and placed a soft kiss on her lips.

Sarah in turn embraced him tightly with tears of joy streaming down her face. Never leave me Sarah, he whispered in her ear. I will never
leave you, she whispered and they slowly released themselves from the embrace.

I present to you the latest couple! The Pastor exclaimed excitedly. The church cheered and Sarah cried more in her husband’s arms

5 years Later
Sarah silently tip toed behind her husband. He was in his study, engrossed in reading. She smiled to herself and gently covered his eyes with both hands.

It’s just you and I in this house Sarah, plus, I smelled you the moment you walked in. Sarah released her hold, sighed and sat on the study table. Why do you figure me out so easily? I can’t even surprise you! That sucks. She curled her arms around his neck.

You are my wife, nothing you do is supposed to surprise me. He playfully pecked her nose. But you’ve been in the study all day and I’m bored! She rolled her eyes.

So what kind of fun do you suggest we have then? He swooped her off the table in his arms. No! Not that kind of fun! She hit him playfully till he put her down.

Okay. He folded his arms on his chest looking into her eyes. So what do you want us to do? Not us! Actually, all I want is to play with your play station and you’ve hidden it again, Sarah said. Just give it to me and you can continue your reading, pleaaaseee - she blinked her eyes playfully.

No way! He went back toward his study chair and sat. Not my PlayStation. Why! You never let me touch it like it's your baby, she sulked. Well, he rolled his eyes. Not
like you’ve given me a baby yet.

Sarah paused for a moment. Did you just say that to me? The words struck her deep down. You shouldn’t have said that, Lawson - she managed to say, her countenance changing.

But it’s true. I’m only saying the truth, Sarah. He turned to face her, still sitting on the chair.

The truth? You think I don’t want us to have kids? Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that - he stood to face her now. Then what are you saying Lawson? Tell me, what is the truth?

Let’s not do this today, please. You can have the play station and play all you want. It’s in my footwear locker and the key is in my Bible.

You always do this. Hurting me with your words - her voice began to shake. Don’t start, Sarah, please. Tell me why you said those words to me! I want to know!

Because I’m tired! I want to be a father! I want to have my own kids, Sarah. And you think I don’t!?! Sarah flared trying not to let the tears pour.

Then why can’t you get pregnant Sarah? This is the fifth year we've been trying.... He clenched his teeth and walked out of the study room.

Sarah was in shock. She sat on the chair for some seconds, stood up again and sat on the chair again. This time she held on to her blouse and burst into tears.

Two weeks after
Lawson, wake up please. Sarah tapped him. Lawson gently opened his eyes and looked at the alarm clock by his bedside. It’s 2:00am, Sarah. It’s urgent! I’m listening, he said drowsily. Mother says we should come for tests. She says she’s spoken to her doctor and he said we should come. What? Lawson opened his eyes now. Your mother is in the UK for Christ’s sakes! Let’s just do it. We can go for the weekend, lets just give it a shot, please Sarah pleaded. No! That would be rather expensive.

Lawson, It’s my birthday today and the only thing I want from you is this trip, Sarah pleaded again.

Lawson fell quiet now. I’m…I’m sorry, Sarah. It skipped my mind. It always does. She lay down back on the bed backing him.

Lawson wrapped his arms around her waist, I said I’m sorry. Sarah remained silent. Lawson sighed. Fine, we'll go this weekend. Really? She turned sharply will so much excitement. If it will make you happy today says Lawson. Thank you baby. She hugged him.

A week after Sarah jerked at the vibration of the phone in her pocket. Hi mom! she pressed the phone to her ear with her shoulders while wiping the washed dishes with her hands.

Honey? What is it mom? She pressed it harder. The result… the result of the tests, her mother cried. Sarah gently dropped the plate and the wiper with her heart beating. Just say it mom, she demanded with much fear in her eyes.

Finally, mom broke the news. She said I am......

Rapper Andre Johnson Is Officially Without A Penis:'I'm alive, penis or no penis'

E! News reports Rapper Andre Johnson made headlines this past April when he cut off his own penis and jumped off the second story of a North Hollywood building.

He survived, and on Sunday, he spoke to E! News exclusively about why he cut off his penis, noting that this is the first time he’s spoken truthfully about the incident.

“Yes, I was using drugs that night, but I was in complete control,” said the rapper, who also goes by the name of Christ Bearer.

“I cut it off because that was the root of all my problems. My solution to the problem was the realization that sex is for mortals, and I am a god… Those kinds of activities got me into trouble, and I came here to be a god.”

There were media reports claiming that doctors were able to reattach Johnson’s penis, but he said that isn’t the case.

“Doctors weren’t able to repair anything,” he told E! News. “But, it still gets hard, the little bit that I got. I still got some penis that works.”

Wu-Tang Clan weigh in on alleged Andre Johnson severed-penis suicide attempt “It’s not the size of the prize, it’s the motion of the ocean,” he added. “There’s no mystery to it, but they couldn’t reattach it. A penis is a penis is a penis.”

“I wasn’t having that much sex up to that point anyways,” added Johnson. “My days of reproducing are over. But now I’m a reborn man.”

The rapper recalled his first moments waking up in the hospital and thinking, “Whoa, I’m alive. Thank god.” “I didn’t want to kill myself,” he said. “That was just my response to the demons. They were doing their best to get to me, but being alive solidified my thoughts…I’m alive, penis or no penis.”

The rapper “had a psychologist I was seeing after I was released,” he said, “but I was quickly okayed after they said I had all my marbles…the lights were on in the attic.”

Initially, Johnson remained quiet on the incident. “People perceived me as crazy, so I never wanted to speak wholeheartedly on the matter,” he explained. “But now, in retrospect, the truth must be told.”

About 2% Of Clergy Are Paedophiles Says Pope Francis

It's no longer news that most clergy men in catholic churches are paedophiles (a person who is sexually attracted to children), the only unanswered question is how wide it has eaten into the system.

In an interview with Italian La Repubblica newspaper, Pope Francis obliged that about 2% of the clergy are paedophiles. It would represent around 8,000 priests out of a global number of about 414,000.

"Among the 2% who are paedophiles are priests, bishops and cardinals. Others, more numerous, know but keep quiet. They punish without giving the reason," Pope Francis said.
